Darcy Lynn Prins, age 57, of Hardwick, Minn., died Thursday, February 8, 2024, at her home. She was born August 29, 1966, in Appleton, Minn., to Virgil and Arleene (Halbur) Rogers. She graduated from Redfield High School in 1984.
Darcy married Darin Prins on September 9, 2019, in Rapid City, S.D. After their marriage, the couple continued to live in Hardwick. Darcy worked as a sales representative at Nordstrom’s Automotive in Garretson, S.D.
She enjoyed cows, the Sturgis bike rally, football, basketball and NASCAR.
She is survived by her husband, Darin Prins, Hardwick; five children, Mandi Pate, Kalispell, Mont., Megan (Joshua) Hataway, Hardwick, Janelle (Nathan) Hartmann, Box Elder, S.D., Levi Lowell, Hardwick, and Travis (Katarina) Rogers, Hardwick; nine grandchildren; a sister, Bonnie Quinn, Rapid City, S.D.; brother-in-law, Thomas Hoffman, Spearfish, S.D.; and three nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Brenda Hoffman; and a brother-in-law, Jim Quinn.
