LOIS DE VALK
Lois De Valk, 60, of Edgerton, Minn., died Friday, Jan. 12, 2024, at Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls, S.D. A memorial service was held Friday, Jan. 19, 10:30 a.m., at the First Baptist Church in Luverne, where Lois was a member.
Lois was born August 23, 1963, to John and Rosalie Christner in Phoenix, Ariz. She married John DeValk on May 2, 2003. She worked as a healthcare provider throughout her life. She loved caring for others, including lost animals! She enjoyed crafting and being creative.
Most recently she operated L.A. DeValk Styles out of her home and was a member of the Edgerton Chamber of Commerce.
She is survived by her husband John, mother Rosalie Christner, and brothers David, John Mark, and Phil. Above all, she loved the Lord. If she met a stranger, she would get to the roots of their beliefs, and introduce them to the gospel. She will be missed by her siblings, nieces, nephews, and a world full of friends and other loved ones.
