Delaney retires from EPS

Marilyn Delaney will retire at the close of this school year,  She has been teaching at Edgerton Public School for the past 22 years. 

Marilyn came to EPS in the fall of 2002. She served as the Child Guide that year. The following year she was recruited to teach sixth grade. She taught the sixth grade for 10 years before moving into a different position, teaching social studies to all elementary students for one year. 

The next year, she moved into the first grade teaching position that she has held ever since. 

Prior to joining EPS, Marilyn worked for the Lake Benton School District, where she was a paraprofessional for 14 years. It was during those years that she and her husband, Joe, were raising their three children. 

Joe recently retired from the Lincoln County Highway Department.
