DARYL DEAN TOLSMA
May 16, 1937 – July 3, 2023
Daryl Tolsma, 86, died peacefully at his home in North Las Vegas surrounded by his children on Tuesday, July 3, 2023. Daryl was born on the family farm in Edgerton, Minn., to Peter and Nellie Tolsma. He was the oldest of 5 children.
He worked in construction and owned his own business. He retired in Nevada and enjoyed all kinds of racing.
He is survived by his children Brenda (Dave) DePoorter, Lance Tolsma, Sherry (Hakker) Arrelanes, and Mark Hakker; two grandchildren, Ashley DePoorter and Chelsea Tolsma Jacobson (Dylan) and 3 great-grandchildren: Noah, Jade, and Jack Jacobson; and many family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary (Hakker), son, Bradley Tolsma, grandsons, Adam DePoorter, Mike Hakker, Danny Hakker, and brother, Larry Tolsma.
Funeral services were held on July 10, 2023 at Palm Northwest Cemetery in North Las Vegas, Nev.
