TAYLOR KROSSCHELL

January 17, 1993 – July 5, 2023

Taylor Joy Krosschell was born January 17, 1993, in Belem, Para, Brazil. On December 2, 1994, she was placed in the hearts of her parents Roger and Tami Krosschell. She and her new brother, Brett soon called Chandler, Minn., their home. Taylor was baptized at Chandler Christian Reformed Church on February 19, 1995.

She went on to attend Chandler Christian School and graduated from Southwest Christian High School in 2012. She attended the University of Sioux Falls for one year. Taylor worked as a CNA at various places including Edgebrook Care Center, putting her passion for caring for others to work. Taylor loved music, especially praise songs, and time spent at the lake relaxing, skiing, tubing, and wake-boarding.

Those who knew Taylor, remember her contagious smile. She loved reaching out with a hug and cherished the hugs she received in return. She was a loyal and caring friend, who loved her people hard.

Her greatest fulfillment came from being a mother. She was committed to the care and growth of her children, whom she surrounded with strong and protective love. Taylor’s greatest happiness came through the births of her children and the gifts of her 3 little “joys”: Paisley Joy, Josefina Joy, and Satyn Joy.

Taylor was a covenant child of God who endured many struggles and her heart was heavy. She passed away unexpectedly on July 5, 2023 in Worthington, Minn., at the age of 30.

She is survived by those who loved her most: her daughters, Paisley, Josefina and Satyn Stewart; their father, Mark Stewart; parents Roger and Tami Krosschell; brother, Brett (Leah) Krosschell; and grandparents: John and Harriet Vander Haar; along with a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by grandparents Pete and Gert Krosschell and Vernon Rozeboom.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at the Chandler Christian Reformed Church in Chandler. A private burial service was held prior to the service.
