GAYLE LYNN (POOL) LANGTON
May 27, 1938 – May 31, 2022
Gayle Lynn (Pool) Langton, 84 of Tecumseh, Mich., passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at Cambrian Assisted Living Memory Care. She was born May 27, 1938, in Leota, Minn., a daughter of the late Theodore and Florence (DeBoer) Pool. She married Royle Monroe Langton on October 22, 1960, in Alameda, Calif. They shared over 58 years together before he passed on August 19, 2019.
Gayle was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Concord, Calif. She was also a member of the Stitchers Guild, Beading Buddies, and Bookclub. Gayle had a love for art, especially ceramics, jewelry making, quilting, embroidery, and also loved bird watching and horses.
Gayle is survived by two sons, Royle A. (Dana) Langton of Tecumseh and Reed M. (Patti) Langton of Charlotte, N.C.; sister, Rebecca Mickelberg of Kansas City, Kansas; brother, Russell Pool of Bozeman, Mont.; three grandchildren Royle T. (Molly) Langton of Knoxville, Tenn., Ryan A. Langton of Tecumseh, and Theodore R. Langton of N.C..; three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held on June 4, 2022, at 11:30 a.m. in Lenawee Hills Memorial Gardens in Tecumseh.
