GIVE OUT SCHOLARSHIPS
Each year the American Legion Post #42 of Edgerton gives scholarships to local high school seniors.
Normally they give one scholarship to each school in the amount of $250. This year the Cub Scouts contributed some money for youth to the American Legion. Because of this, the Legion gave two scholarships to both schools in the amount of $500.
The winners at Southwest Christian School are Makenzie J. Snyder and Ella Veldkamp. The scholarships were awarded by Paul Ward, finance officer for the Post, on May 19.

The winners at the Edgerton Public School were Addison Fleischman and Kendra Westerbur. The scholarships were given at the graduation on Friday, May 28, by Commander Dick Ruiter.
