July 8, 1956 – December 8, 2020

Renee Kreun, 64, of Omaha, Nebr., died December 8, 2020, at the hospital. A private family service was held Saturday, Dec. 12, in Omaha.

Renee A. Kreun was born in Rapid City, S.D. She married the love of her life, Wesley Kreun, in June 1977. She spent the early years of marriage doting on her children and moving around the midwest. She returned to the workforce when her kids were nearly out of elementary school. She retired from Ortho Nebraska in 2019 after about 20 years of service.

Playing games with family was Renee’s favorite pastime, although baking may be a close second. She loved any time with her grandchildren as well. Renee was known for being kind and welcoming. She spent her life walking in faith and encouraging others to keep their faith a priority. The family finds great peace in knowing her beloved husband was there to welcome her into heaven as we know together they found much joy.

She is survived by her loving family: her children, Bryan (Stacy), Stephanie (Chris Wilson), Kyle (Julie), and Matthew (Lindsey) and 10 precious grandchildren; parents Robert and Karen McGuire and siblings, Deby McCauley, Keith McGuire (Deb), Jim McGuire (Dianne), Kim Hochhalter (Al), Daneen Curley (Kevin), and LeAnn McGuire, and in-laws, Vi (Jay) De Groot of Edgerton and Vern Kreun of Sioux Falls, S.D.

She was preceded in death by loving husband, Deacon Wesley Kreun and twin sister, Robin.
