Policies & Rates

Billing:

Accounts normally are billed at the end of the month and are due upon receipt.

Circulation:

Published every Wednesday. 1,500 nationwide 1,150 in four counties of SW MN 175-plus E-edition/online subscribers

Legal Newspaper For:

Pipestone County (in even-numbered year, alternating with Pipestone County Star) City of Edgerton Independent School District #581 Also serves the related communities of Leota, Chandler, and Woodstock

Advertising Policies:

All advertising copies must be in the Enterprise office before Monday Noon for the Wednesday edition.

We will place your advertisements in other newspapers and shoppers for you, allowing you to receive only one bill from our office, rather than bills from several news organizations.

The publisher reserves the right to cancel or reject any advertisement at any time.

Advertising Rates:

Display Advertising: $9.25 per column inch.

Continuously-Running Display Ads: will be discounted to $8.50 when only minor or sporadic changes are made from week to week.

Color: A charge of $40.00 will be made for printing in color. Talk to our ad sales people about this if you are interested.

Other Rates & Info:

Word ad rates (Classified ads, Thank You ads, etc.): $10.00 for the first 20 words, running for one week, $7.50 each week (two weeks), and $6.50 each week (three or more weeks). 10¢ for each additional word after the first 20 words.

Rummage ad rates (may have special citywide rates): $13.00 for the first 30 words. 10¢ for each additional word over the first 30 words.

Open House or Card Shower ads: $20.00 for two insertions, $15.00 for one insertion. Add $6.00 to include a picture.

Happy ad rates (Happy Birthday Ads, Happy Anniversary Ads, etc.): $25.00 for a standard ad (one column x 3 inches tall). Anything over the standard size is an additional $9.00 per column inch of space used.

Anniversary Write-ups: We do not charge for anniversary write-ups in the news section of the paper. We will need you to submit "then" and "now" photos and a write-up of information on the couple. We will not include open house or card shower information, unless you have paid for an advertisement of that information.

Obituaries: All obituaries as well as death notices are run for free (if originally from the Edgerton region).

Engagements, Weddings or a New Baby: There is no charge for printing this information. Please submit a digital photo or glossy photo to us along with the pertinent information by emailing us or dropping it off at the office.
