Red Riding Hood

Theater Production a Success

Last weekend, local students were part of a theater production called Red Riding Hood. Red Riding Hood, played by Lydia Talsma, and her friends – played by Izzy and Hannah Masselink and Kelli Blom – went on a forest adventure where they learned that life is no picnic when you stray from the trail! They also learned that the Big Bad Wolf (played by Vera Prouty) is not so bad after all. A friendly neighborhood Forest Ranger (Jonah Uillk) urged our heroes to stay true to the path. There were also parts played by “shadow,” and other fun fairy tale characters like the Three Little Pigs, the Boy Who Cried Wolf, and several more characters that made for a very fun production.

This production was part of the Missoula Children’s Theatre’s unique international touring project and is presented locally by Friends of the Edgerton Library.
