Dinner On The Dairy
On Thursday, June 23, Newalta Dairy hosted “Dinner on the Dairy” inviting area residents out to their farm to see how a modern dairy runs.
Newalta Dairy operates a 3,500-cow dairy northwest of Edgerton. They offered tours of the dairy facilities as well as free burgers grilled by the PIpestone County Pork Producers. They estimate that about 800 people came through that evening.
The Pipestone County Dairy princesses, Josie Sutherland and Katelyn Welgraven, also served ice cream.
It was a beautiful night out at the dairy.
