It’s National Ag Week!

March 20-26 is National Ag Week. Inside the pages of the March 23rd edition of the Edgerton Enterprise you will find our salute to farmers then and now with a photo montage. We hope that you enjoy looking back at the way we used to farm and comparing it to the way we farm now. The total number of farms in Minnesota in 2020 was 67,500, down 500 farms from 2019, according to the USDA National Agricultural Statistics Service. While the number of farms has declined, those who remain in agriculture continue to work hard to grow their operations.
