Third grade news

Mr. Buckridge was a guest reader in Mrs. DeJong’s third grade. Third graders have been studying black history and enjoyed learning about Mary Walker, who learned to read at age 116!

Mr. Buckridge was reading a book to Mrs. DeJong’s third grade students.

Valentine’s Day means a contest to see who can wear the most red in third grade!

Mrs. Kallevig’s 3rd grade class made special valentines for the residents at Edgebrook.

Fifth grade news

Although we celebrated Valentine’s Day on Friday, February 11, we still had Valentine’s Day fun in math. It was a great time to review graphs and fractions with candy!

Allyson Muder, Rylan Bloemendaal, Austin Vander Linden, and Elissa Moshier continue to work on their math.

Weston Van’t Hof calculates his fractions while Ryan Snyder and Mason Danko fill in their frequency columns.
