Where Is Your Wedding Dress?

On Saturday, January 29, the Edgerton Chamber of Commerce and the Edgerton Museum are co-hosting a unique event at the Runals Memorial Hall. They plan to host a wedding dress show featuring dresses from the past and present.

The one caveat is that they only have about four dresses so far – so they need people to volunteer to display their beloved wedding dresses (or their mother’s or grandmother’s dress if they have them) for a few hours that Saturday morning.  Contact Shela Gunnink if you are willing to display a dress.

The event will run from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. that morning and the museum will be open for tours.  Refreshments will also be served.  The chamber hopes to supply coffee, tea, and scones for those who attend.

If you have any interesting wedding dress stories to share, please email those to Jill Fennema at the Edgerton Enterprise. She plans to compile some interesting wedding dress facts from history to be presented during the show.

If you have any questions, you can always email the Enterprise office at edgent@iw.net
