Vikings Shut Out Dutchmen

In game 2 of the young season the E/SWC Dutchmen took on the Minneota Vikings in Minneota. The Dutchmen were short-handed due to an SWC senior class trip. Once again E/SWC did a lot of the right things but could not come up with a victory as they went down to a 7-0 loss on the Vikings home turf.
Gabe Gilbertson and Skylar Feikema did the hurling for the Eagles. Gilbertson gave up 4 runs in the third inning. The senior struck out 6 hitters but was done in by that third inning. Feikema took over in the fourth inning and struck out 3 hitters in his 3 innings of work. The Vikings got 1 run in the fourth inning and 2 in the sixth off the sophomore.
