FFA Members Advance To State Competition

Edgerton FFA members were busy in the month of January and February filling out proficiency awards. A proficiency is for FFA members/ag students’ work outside of the school day.

Carter Kracht and Wyatt Jensen completed their Minnesota FFA State Degree application and have been nominated for the State Degree award, the highest FFA award in the State. They will receive their degrees at the 2021 State FFA Convention in late April.

Wyatt Jensen was named the Region 6 Star in Agricultural Production Placement for his work at Rob and Kendra Van Hill’s operation. Wyatt will now be advancing to State as well to compete for the State title against the other Regional winners. Minnesota has 8 regions in our State. Star awards go to the top FFA State Degree areas.
