Students Make Drawings For Contest
This year, in honor of the Thanksgiving holiday, the Edgerton Enterprise asked local 5th grade students to draw a picture for fall. Students from Southwest Christian, Edgerton Public, and Free Christian schools submitted drawings. We asked them to draw something related to what or whom they were thankful for. We found that many students were thankful for school and school friends this year. Others were thankful for church and family.
The first place prize went to Jordan Van Dam, a 5th grader at Southwest Christian. He was thankful for family, church, school, and farmers. Jordan is the son of Ron and Stephanie Van Dam of Jasper. He won $30 in Dutch Dollars from the Edgerton Enterprise. Second place went to Grace Soleta, a 5th grader at Edgerton Public. She is the daughter of Clint and Angie Soleta. She won $20 in Dutch Dollars from the Edgerton Enterprise. Her drawing is on Page 2.First Place:

The 3rd place drawing is on Page 5. The winner of that prize was Karson Kreun, a 5th grader at Edgerton Pulic. Karson is a son of Ross and Missy Kreun of Edgerton. He won $10 in Dutch Dollars from the Edgerton Enterprise. Third Place:
