Students Honor Veterans With Song and Signs
Last week Wednesday was Veteran’s Day, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic and restrictions, there were no local events held.
However, students at Southwest MN Christian High School tried to honor veterans with songs and signs.
That morning, a group of students sang patriotic songs outside at Edgebrook Care Center.
Another group was downtown Edgerton. This group hung signs that say “Thank you for your Service, Veterans!” on the light poles in the central business district.
They also sang outside Tally Ho Koffie, a popular coffee spot for many of the older veterans in town.
Edgerton businesses also flew the flags on Main Street, which looked very nice with the hoarfrost that morning.
