EFFIE BOLT
August 23, 1926 – September 27, 2020
Effie Bolt, 94, Wyoming, Mich., went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 27, 2020. Effie was born to Peter and Hattie Kuipers on August 23, 1926 in Pipestone County, Minnesota.
She and her husband, Ralph, and family moved to Michigan in the late 1950s.
Ralph preceded her in death in 2015 after 68 years of marriage. Also preceding her are sisters Lena and Florence and brothers John, August, and Cornelius.
She is survived by brother Adrian (Carrie) Kuipers and sister Celia Moret. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Rod (Linda) Bolt, Don Bolt, Wes (Karen) Bolt, Tim (Kelly) Bolt, and Kathee (Jeff) DeVlieger, 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the ladies at Bayberry Farms Apartments for their years of friendship and the wonderful staff at MediLodge for their care, especially this past six months when we were unable to visit. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial will be held at a later date.
