Senior Athletes Sign to Play Sports At College

Avery Pater, a senior at SWCH, has signed a letter of intent to continue his basketball and track and field careers at Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa, in the fall. He plans to study business at Northwestern and is the son of Randy and Priscilla Pater of Pipestone.

The following Edgerton Seniors have signed to play sports at various colleges, including Northwestern College, Coe College, Crown College, University of Minnesota, and Dordt College.

Jazlynn Prins, a senior at SWCH, has signed a letter of intent to play basketball at Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa. Jazy plans to major in psychology. She is the daughter of Eric and Dionne Prins of Edgerton.

Kade Fey has signed a letter of intent to continue his basketball career at Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa. Fey is considering a major in business/finance. He is the son of Ross and Nicole Fey of Edgerton.

Jacob Van Dam, a senior at SWCH, has signed a letter of intent to play basketball and baseball at Crown College in St. Bonifacius (near the Twin Cities) this coming school year. Jacob plans to major in education and coaching. He is the son of Mark and Paula Van Dam of rural Edgerton.

Gabrielle Buckridge, a senior at EHS, has signed to play softball for next season for the Coe College Kohawks, located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She will be majoring in psychology and criminal justice. She plays third base and is a pitcher in softball. She is the daughter of Keith and Becky Buckridge of Edgerton.

Jeffrey Burvee, a senior at Edgerton High School, has signed a letter of intent to play football with the University of Minnesota at Morris. Jeff plans to major in education. He is the son of Nichole and Sam Burvee of Edgerton.

Jonathan Eisma, a senior at SWCH, has announced his intention to attend Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa, and join the Defender track and field program. Jonathan is the son of Doug and Shellie Eisma of Edgerton. He plans to study business at Dordt. He is pictured to the right with his high school track coach, Brian Tschetter.
