Flags Will Fly
The annaul Memorial Day Program at the Hillside Cemetery will not be held this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the Avenue of Flags will be set up.
The American Legion requests that anyone who can help set up the flags be at the building at Hillside Cemetery on Saturday, May 23, at 9 a.m. The flags will be taken down on Monday, May 25, at 5 p.m.
Anyone that feels uncomfortable being a part of the flag work because of health concerns should not feel obligated in any way to help. The Legion encourages those who do come to work to wear masks.
