Winners of CI Program Announced

On Monday, January 8, two entries were randomly drawn as the annual winners for Fey Industries Continuous Improvement program. All team members who participated during 2017 with improvements were included in the drawing; improvements can be submitted by an individual or a group.

The intent of the program is for every team member to be actively involved with driving improvements at Fey’s. The improvements are classified as process or safety. A process improvement is defined as something that saves time, money, material, improves quality, and/or increases productivity. A safety improvement is defined as a permanent change to the process, work area, or equipment to reduce or prevent the risk of injury.

The winner of the first $1,000 cash prize was Lisa Olson. The winners of the second $1,000 cash prize went to the team of Amber Skime, Michelle Van Kley, and Jackie Van Nieuwenhuyzen who had collaborated on generating and implementing an improvement.
