Crusaders Down Eagles 3-2

The Southwest Minnesota Christian Eagle soccer team played three games last week; two of them had great importance for sectional placement in the upcoming tournament. On Tuesday they played Mankato Loyola and several schools which combine with them. The Crusaders were just below the Eagles in the section standings.

The Eagles started strong scoring 2 goals in the first half, which they played with the wind at their backs. Seven minutes into the game Trey Huisken placed a corner kick into the goal area. After caroming around several pairs of feet, Isaac Jasper, moving up from his defensive position, put his boot on the ball and sent it into the net for a goal.
